Our team of electrical engineers represent consumer interests on standards-setting committees responsible for British, European and international standards, including the committee responsible for the IET Wiring Regulations.

They write popular technical publications and work constructively with the industry by chairing the working groups that write the best practice guides, and the Electrical Installation Forum, which considers technical questions, the answers to which are posted on our website. We also work closely with the technical committees of industry bodies, such as the ECA, NICEIC and SELECT.
